A Community United for Mental Health and Neurodiversity
Saturday, 10th August 2024, saw many enthusiastic players and supporters come together for the fourth year running for the Bradley Allan Golf Day – and what a day was had!
Hosted by the Caledonian Golf Club at the Kings Links in Aberdeen, the event saw some great competition from the 168 players who took part.
Established in 2020 by the Allan family, this special event raises awareness and funds for mental health charities across North Scotland. This year, for the first time, all proceeds were donated to Autism and Neurodiversity North Scotland (A-ND), a gesture for which we are profoundly grateful.
The event raised a whopping £6,446 - and if this wasn’t enough, Tulloch Recruitment agreed to double this amount, making a grand total of £12,892!
This kind donation, in addition to the amount raised at the event, will be significant in aiding our urgent need for support and resources to continue providing life-changing support services to autistic and neurodiverse individuals and their families throughout the North of Scotland.
We are excited to launch our new Playscheme in Dingwall later this year, so donations such as this enable us to expand our services and raise further awareness. A very special thank you to Scott and Donna for their dedication in organising this event and for choosing to support A-ND. Your efforts ensure that we can continue to help as many individuals as possible, preventing others from facing similar struggles.
Some Big Thank You’s
Thanks to all those who supported the event with donations, prizes, and their time. Without the amazing commitment of local contacts, companies, and many amazing friends and family, the annual Golf Day would not be the event it is today.
A big shout out to Sport Aberdeen for its generosity in allowing the day to take place at the Kings Links, along with XIC, who kindly agreed to undertake the event’s printing needs. We also want to extend our thanks to Global E&C for its sponsorship. These kindnesses are the backbone of the event and hugely valued.
Sponsorship was also received for closest to the holes and longest drive on the day. These contributions are invaluable, and their commitment to the event and support for A-ND is deeply appreciated.
Congratulations to all those Who Took Part
Together, we’ve made a difference.
We eagerly anticipate the 2025 event and the remarkable spirit of collaboration and selflessness that Scott and Donna consistently bring to the day.
Congratulations go out to the 1st place winners on the day with a score of 52.4!
